For this 2017 release on techno label Aila Records, Epistrophe Smith teamed up with St Löda to create 'Heavy Bombardment’, a two track conceptual EP.

Both tracks were inspired by astronomy and space; (Late) Heavy Bombardment (LHB) was an intense comet and asteroid bombardment thought to have taken place over three billion years ago. Enceladus is the sixth largest moon of the planet Saturn.

As a result both tracks are heavy hitting offering powerful beats, floaty synths and tons of atmosphere. ‘Two tracks do all the talking here - and they talk loudly.’ - Aila Records
